TEGSUMI is manufactured in Japan using rare domestic tussar silk, carefully cultivated by contracted farmers in the pristine natural environment of Gunma Prefecture.

The products are thoughtfully developed around the natural protein “tussar silk fibroin,” extracted directly from tussar silk. They contain no petroleum-based surfactants or synthetic colorants, allowing this precious natural material to retain and showcase its unique properties.

Tussar silk fibroin contains the same types of amino acids as those found in human breast milk, in similar proportions.

It is a gentle, low-irritation ingredient formulated with safety in mind.

All TEGSUMI products are developed under the supervision of veterinarians and undergo patch testing before being launched.
